Well, this is awkward, I know I haven't signed in since October, but I randomly thought about this account again for the first time in months while discussing writing with a coworker.
In case it wasn't obvious to anyone, I've given up on writing in general, I stopped feeling that spark to write a long time ago, probably back when I was using the Veronica-Secret account, but continued because...well....I don't know.
But as time went on, and my writing became slower and slower, it felt more and more like a chore to try and write. It stopped being fun and became much more of ah...job, almost, and I lost all drive to continue on writing.
The final nail in the coffin though? was Tumblr, when they deleted all of my stories, and got rid of all 18+ content? that was what really made me quit altogether. It was just so demotivating after all that was going on as well, that I just dropped everything for all these months and never really knew how to word it to you guys.
So although I'm not returning, and likely will never see this website again, I figured I'd at least let you guys know what happened to ol Lance, and don't worry, I won't be deactivating, so you can still read all the stories posted here until DA decides to get rid of them.
I won't be signing on again, it's been a good ride, I'm sorry

2nd Person and CYOA TG Stories

Both of these are things I've talked about before I think, I'm very interested in them
However, at least for CYOAs, DA isn't very compatible with it
So I have 2 questions
1. would you guys like to see either of those?
2. do you guys knowwhere that I could more easily make a CYOA? obviously I would post the starter here and have a link to it if I do make it so don't worry about having to find the CYOA yourself

MASCOT DESIGN POLL

so, lots of people already are saying Mascot is better, so here are some Possible Mascot Ideas I came up with
Name: The Explicit Cryptid
Appearance: Pink skinned, slightly feminine humanoid with two tiny little horns on it's forehead and straight silver long hair. Usually with an overly happy grin and a small fang protruding out of it's mouth. Almost looks like a Majin from DBZ
Name: The Kryptic Stranger
Appearance: Cloaked slim figure in a large gray coat, wearing a strange face mask that lacks any human features and just has a simple design on it. Shoulder length straight blonde hair.
Name: The Crypt Keeper
Appearance: Female humanoid, wearing lots of chains and wrappings, with nothing but a small shirt and shorts on underneath the chains/wrappings/fishnets, long long long black hair and shining yellow eyes. Pale skin toned.
Name: The Helpless Cryptid
Appearance: Mostly bound female, wearing a blindfold and black latex, but she is isn't gagged. Her arms are bound together in front of her by chains. Her skin tone is pure snow white, unhumanly so, with slightly red shoulder length hair.

ALSO, if you are good at drawing, or know someone who is willing to trade a sketch for a caption/story please let me know so I can get a sketch of my Mascot (I will ask for an example of your/their work so I know what it might look like), which I will then color in myself

Ideas for a New Icon?

Looking at my profile, and I honestly think I really need a new icon...
The Profile Picture of the boots looks nice, but my icon just looks lazy, anyone have any ideas of what I should try to do? can't really draw for shit so that kinda takes a lot away from my possibilities...
but say I used points to get an icon as a commission or traded a caption/story for an icon, what ideas would you guys have for what it should look like?

No Need to Worry

Sorry if my last journal came off a little intense or made me seem like I was cripplingly depressed
My depression is both confirmed by a physician and I already have been getting help for it for a few years now
just every now and again I get a bit of an intense spell of it, nothing serious, it just happens every now and again, it's a work in progress to get rid of these episodes
thanks for the concern everyone, but really, I'm fine
still, might be inactive for a bit as I'm hitting job hunting hard
